The Good Manner KF94 Black Mask is of excellent design and effectiveness. It fits close to the face with no gaps on the side.
I am from Canada and the fact that CBC Marketplace’s research gave it such a high level of efficiency makes me feel more confident when I am out. I highly recommend this mask.
These are premium quality masks at an excellent price point. I have found it very easy to get a good seal with these masks thanks to the design and a good built-in double-nose-wire that is both firm and easy to shape to the face. The materials are top-quality which allows for longer wear.
I have tried other masks of this style which were manufactured elsewhere, but the materials stretched with condensation and caused glasses-fog-up within an hour of wear through medium-labour intensive work– these masks don’t do that– better moisture-wicking inner layer, smarter layering of materials perhaps, and some kind of coating that make these more firm to prevent that kind of stretch/leakage? Canadian weather can be a challenge re: condensation, from outside cold to inside bus/train and put additional strain on mask materials that can potentially affect efficacy– it looks to me that these masks will be able to handle it better?
Per the CBC article/Dalla School at U of T, these tested at excellent filtration, well above 94% (>99% — excellent test results!). Additionally, shipping was remarkably fast and efficient– only 4 days to Ontario and I received a complimentary trial package of the pink masks– and I love those, that was a nice surprise! I purchased these for a relative, he requires clear glasses for both work and public transit safety– they conform to his dress code, but for me I’m liking the pink, somewhat flattering, brightens up the complexion up a bit (the fashionista in me likes that, been feeling a bit dulled-down through all this mask wearing for so long). 🙂
I tend to fit smaller in masks generally, but I could still a get good fit with these by adding a hook to the ear loops to go around the head (N95 style) (or knot the loops for tighter fit), but I might try the smaller size, perhaps in the yellow? I like that there are colour options on top of a premium quality, high efficiency mask. Because they are flat-folding, they are easy to store, easy to carry, slip them in a binder/briefcase– individually packaged, can keep the sleeve for storage for break-times, etc. They seem easier to handle, store, shape to face than the dome-shaped masks, yet are getting a comparable if not better filtration efficacy– that’s a great accomplishment. I wish I found these earlier on in the pandemic, but I’m glad I did find them.
These are very well-designed masks in every way– design, efficacy, relative comfort, ease of wear and fit– and now there are fashion colour options on top all that. They seem a lot better than the procedural masks, which seem to slip off of people’s noses around here on buses and elevators, etc. and leave big gaps for leakage (that leakage can add up in confined and crowded spaces with poor ventilation, etc.)– I also find them way more comfortable to breathe in vs. procedural mask and definitely the cloth ones, because there is a pocket for breathing space, it feels less claustrophobic, much more comfortable. Good Manner Mask seems to be an established company with many years of experience preceding this pandemic– with talent and innovation, that adds up in creating a superior design and well-thought out materials.
I am very pleased with this purchase and the performance of these masks. I thank the designers, the manufacturers and labourers for creating such a high-quality, superb mask. Without reservation, I highly recommend these.

I couldn’t see much about my order on the website but I did get numerous confirmation emails and then tracking information.
